NIGERIAN workers in the southeast geo-political zone , yesterday, trooped out in their thousands to celebrate 2018 May Day with protests  and complaints over their conditions. The complaints of the workers cut across salary arrears,pension arrears and other poor conditions of service.

A cross section of Nigerians have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to take necessary step to stop incessant killings by suspected herdsmen across the country.

Former national president, Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria,  PENGASSAN  Dr Brown Ogbeifun in this interview encouraged the quick take off of modular refineries in the Niger Delta , saying it would create over twenty jobs across the region.  According to him, before the refineries would take off  Excravos, Koko, Sapele, Burutu ports in Delta state would be dredged, noting that this would step up employment opportunities for teeming youths in the region .

AS Nigeria battles with employment crisis, the Federal Government has been counselled that the National Senior Citizens Center, NSCC, can be a veritable avenue to creating massive employment in the country.

FEW days ago, members of the Human Capital Providers Association of Nigeria, HuCaPAN, held their 7th Annual General Meeting, AGM, in Lagos. In a chat with  Vanguard at the end of the AGM, President of the association, Mr. Aderemi Adegboyega, spoke on  among others,  quackery and the issue of unfair Labour practices, declaring that members dislike such practices.
