Senator Tunde Ogheha was a member of the National Assembly between 1999 and 2003. He can also be credited with the feat of being one of the few politicians in Kogi State that brought the incumbent governor to office. Alhaji Bamanga Tukur was the former governor of Gongola State. That was his immediate political office after serving as the managing director of the Nigerian Ports Authority for several years.
