Lagos—Senator representing Lagos East senatorial district, Sen. Gbenga Ashafa has added his voice to a motion recently moved at the senate to honour late Dr. Gamaliel Offoritsenere Onosode, for his contribution to Nigeria’s development.

According to Ashafa in a statement, the motion was a well deserving gesture which befits the late boardroom guru over his significant contribution to national development.

“I suggest that a monument be built on behalf of late Chief Onosode or an Institution be named after him in order to keep his  iconic attributes indelible in the memories of Nigerians,” he said.

He further urged the Federal Government to  give him a posthumous award for his distinctive character.
