The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) yesterday accepted that the country’s qualification for the Morocco 2015 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) championship was on a tight rope after losing to Congo at home and managing a draw against South Africa.
General secretary of the NFF. Barr. Musa Amadu told Sports Vanguard that the only option left for the team was to work very hard to ensure that the next two games against Sudan in Khartoum and in Nigeria were won.
Amadu further said that even if the Eagles win the next two games, they must also pray and hope that both Congo and South Africa cancel themselves by playing draws in their own matches.
