Soldiers Friday morning went on rampage at the Palmgroove area on Ikorodu Road, Lagos after a BRT bus allegedly knocked down a soldier on a motorcycle.

Vanguard cannot ascertain if the soldier died in the accident.

There was pandemonium as soldiers took to the streets setting ablaze BRT buses, beating up drivers and conductors while other BRT bus operators parked their vehicles and ran for dear life.

Thus, the operations of the buses have been grounded as commuters are stranded at major bus stops along Ikorodu Road with others trekking to their destinations.
