NFF praises Uduaghan, Deltans, delegates

UDUAGHAN

President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Aminu Maigari, has heaped encomiums on the Executive Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, CON, the Delta State Government, the good people of Delta State and all invited guests and delegates who graced the highly successful 69th General Assembly of Nigeria football in Warri on Thursday.

Speaking in Abuja, Maigari said the General Assembly would not have been as successful and glorious without the earnest commitment and dedication of the persons who were there, as well as the Delta State Government that provided all the facilities and conducive environment for the annual assembly of those who matter in the Nigeria game.

“My sincere appreciation goes to the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, CON, the Deputy Governor, Professor Amos Utuama, SAN, the Executive Chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, Mr. Amaju Pinnick and indeed all the people of Delta State, as well as all our invited guests and the esteemed delegates who made us realise a very successful event.

“My appreciation also goes to Members of the Executive Committee and Management, as well as staff of the NFF who worked day and night to ensure a hitch-free Annual General Assembly,” Maigari said.

Deputy Governor of DeltaState, Professor Amos Utuama, a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, represented Governor Uduaghan, who was outside the country, and also attended the banquet that took place later in the evening.

Director General of the National Sports Commission, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye was represented by the Director of Sports Planning, Research and Documentation, Mr. Gregory Iyogun.
