Super Eagles and Fenerbahce forward Emmanuel Emenike continued his impressive form for the Yellow Canaries on Saturday night by getting on the score sheet for his 5th league goal in the 3-3 home draw against Michael Eneramo’s Besiktas.

While Emenike started and played the entire duration of the encounter, his compatriot on the opposite bench Eneramo who has struggled for playing time since arriving at Besiktas in the summer sat out the clash.

A  ninth minute strike broke the deadlock to put the visitors in front but a swift response by Fenerbahce through Emenike restored parity three minutes later.

Mousa Sow struck inside the 37th minute to put the home side in front but a sloppy defending in the closing stages of the second half by Fenerbahce saw Besiktas netting and equalizer and eventually taking the lead just before the half time whistle as Hugo Almeida struck twice within three minutes to hand Besiktas a 3-2 lead at half time.

On resuming the second half, Emenike and his gang got on the front foot in search of an early equalizer but the visitors kept their composure, stayed solid at the back and looked good for all available points despite playing with ten men following the dismissal of Uysal for a second booking in the 69th minute
