The Ebuka Amobi Foundation has concluded its education empowerment after it received over 2000 applications from students across Imo state, to conduct quiz competitions in all categories.

This was revealed to newsmen in Owerri, on Thursday by the Director of the Project, Ambassador Kennedy Asuzu.

Out of the 2000 applications, Asuzu said 300 Imo students were qualified for the quiz competition.

He described the quiz competition which was held on Saturday 16, November 2024, as open to all categories of education, noting that it was a “pioneering effort aimed to promote academic excellence, critical thinking, and healthy competition among students.”

The Project Director, said the Grand Finale and award Ceremony has been slated for December, 2024. Pointing out that; “The best-performing students from each category will be awarded educational financial support at the grand finale and award ceremony, scheduled for December 2024.”

He also added that; “The prestigious event will celebrate the achievements of Imo State’s brightest students. The Ebuka Amobi Foundation remains committed to empowering students, bridging educational gaps, and fostering a culture of excellence.”

“This initiative demonstrates the foundation’s dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders. It is also important to note that the foundation is the first to host a quiz competition and education empowerment for all categories of education in the state,”he concluded.
