Indications emerged, yesterday, that Nigeria may have postponed the launch of its second earth observation satellite, NigeriaSat-2 and one other, NigeriaSat-X, scheduled for tomorrow.
The postponement according to National Space Research and Development Agency, NASRDA, sources was due to logistics and technical reasons.
The agency announced the launch of the two satellites last week through the Director General Seidu Mohammed, saying the launch would be using the Dneper launch vehicle, which had launched over 50 satellites successfully in orbit on various missions.
Mohammed also added that Nigeria was not engaging in space business for the fun.
