The Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Mr Basil Ganagana, has said that the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, is assisting the state government with N1.7 billion for the early completion of the three kilometre section of the Uduophori/Patani Road project.
The lawmaker made the disclosure, weekend, in Patani during the campaign flag off ceremony for three People Democratic Party, PDP, candidates from the Bomadi/Patani Federal constituency, said that the development projects being carried out by the( PDP) were unprecedented.
Candidates from the area, who jointly flagged off their campaign include Senator James Manager, seeking to represent Delta south senatorial district, Mr Nicholas Mutu, contesting to represent the Bomadi/Patani Federal constituency and Mr Ganagana, seeking to represent Patani Local Government Area in the state House of Assembly.
