Umuahia—GOVERNOR Theodore Orji of Abia State, has promised residents of Aba, the commercial capital of the state, that his administration was committed to tackling infrastructural and environmental problems facing them, especially  the area of bad roads.

Governor Orji made the promise, when the traditional rulers and leaders of thought from Aba North and South Local Government areas paid him a courtesy visit at Government House, Umuahia.

He urged Aba people to be patient with his government, saying he was making every effort to transform the city.

He called for the support of Ngwa people in his second term bid, pointing out that he remains the best candidate for them.

Orji, who restated his belief in equity, said he believes that indigenes should have a say in what happens in their land, which was why he appointed indigenes of Aba South and Aba North  into the transition committees of the councils.
