ABUJA — The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has paid glowing tribute to its 2023 presidential candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo, describing him as a respected Nigerian patriot, true democrat, philanthropist extraordinaire and a proud emblem of his generation.

The party made the commendation in a birthday message issued on Thursday to mark Adebayo’s 54th birthday anniversary.

In a statement signed by the SDP National Publicity Secretary, Araba Rufus Aiyenigba, the party urged Adebayo to remain focused and undeterred in his mission to make Nigeria great again.

According to the statement, the Acting National Chairman of the party, Dr. Sadiq Umar Abubakar Gombe, on behalf of the NWC and members of the SDP nationwide, celebrated Adebayo for his outstanding contributions to national development and democratic ideals.

The party described Adebayo as a man of uncommon depth, fecund intellect and noble character, attributes which it said have earned him widespread respect and admiration across the country.

“SDP is very proud and grateful to God for blessing Nigeria in this era with a great personality like Prince Adewole Adebayo,” the statement said, noting that his vision for a better Nigeria and his commitment to building a just and inclusive society are worthy of national recognition.

The party further praised Adebayo’s efforts in empowering households, inspiring Nigerian youths and young professionals, and promoting human dignity across the country, irrespective of class, status or creed.

As he marks another year, the SDP expressed confidence in Adebayo’s leadership potential, praying for his long life, good health and continued fulfilment, while expressing hope that his exceptional talents would soon find fuller expression on the national leadership stage for the benefit of Nigeria.
