Farmers and entrepreneurs in the country have been urged to embrace wealth creation approaches in their areas of operation to achieve greater results.
Mr. Alfred Ukane, made the remark in Warri, Delta state at the the “Alfred Ukane Effect,” in partnership with Chuvaak Group and the March Initiative.
Ukane who was the convener and keynote speaker said his primary motivation for organizing the program was to empower people and add value to society.
“I am not doing this to earn but to add value to society and make Nigeria a better place,” Ukane said.
He emphasized that knowledge-driven initiatives like this are vital in tackling unemployment, boosting agricultural productivity, and fostering economic sustainability at the grassroots level.
The event hosted a high-impact empowerment and business training program aimed at equipping individuals and farmers in Delta State with practical wealth creation skills ahead of the Christmas season.
The event, themed “Make Money This Christmas – Selling Chicken,” recorded impressive attendance from entrepreneurs, farmers, and aspiring business owners across the state.
The interactive session featured an array of seasoned agribusiness experts who served as panelists, including Okonkwo Jones ,CEO, De Darls Farms, Israel Ogisi CEO, Mogisi Farms, Precious Efejuku CEO, Tajin Farms, and Daniel Mogboruko CEO, Marich Agro. The forum provided participants with practical insights on how to generate substantial income during the festive period through poultry farming, particularly in the supply of chickens and eggs.
The empowerment training was described as a major success, as attendees left with renewed enthusiasm and strategies for building profitable agribusiness ventures capable of yielding millions during the yuletide.
Participants commended Mr. Ukane and his partners for the impactful initiative, noting that the training opened their eyes to new opportunities within the poultry value chain.
The Alfred Ukane Effect continues to set a benchmark for youth and community empowerment in Delta State, promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurship as pathways to national development.
