ABUJA – A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Tejiri Collins Johngold, has reaffirmed his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reform agenda, stressing that the president’s leadership is vital for Nigeria’s long-term stability and progress.

Johngold praised Tinubu’s focus on economic reform, national security, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment, describing him as a visionary leader.

While briefing journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, Johngold urged the APC to remain united and strategic in backing Tinubu’s reforms, which include the removal of fuel subsidies, unification of exchange rates, and investment in digital infrastructure.

According to him, these bold policies are already attracting international interest and setting Nigeria on a trajectory towards stability.

He said, “President Tinubu is not just leading Nigeria; he is repositioning it. His commitment to difficult but necessary reforms proves he’s not here for politics as usual, but for genuine transformation. The road is tough, but the direction is right.”

The party chieftain emphasised that reform efforts require patience, sacrifice, and collective faith from the Nigerian people.

He further highlighted the need for grassroots mobilisation and urged APC members to remain responsive to the concerns of everyday Nigerians.

“We must support a leader who is committed to making history for the right reasons. The APC under Tinubu’s leadership must remain united, focused, and strategic in building a truly inclusive Nigeria,” he said.

Johngold also appealed to Nigerians to remain patient as the administration navigates this challenging transition, reminding citizens that nation-building is a long-term endeavour requiring unity and perseverance.

“This is a defining chapter in our democracy, and we must stand behind President Tinubu as he leads Nigeria into a future of growth and stability,” he added.
