INYC, in a statement by it’s President, Comrade Matthew Edugbo, called on peddlers of the false allegation against Oritsemeyiwa Eyasan to desist and redirect their energy to more meaningful ventures.
It described.
Oritsemeyiwa Eyasan as a seasoned administrator with sterling career spanning over 30 years in the oil and gas industry, adding that her rise to the esteemed position was a testament of
hard work, dedication and selfless service to the development of the country.
Saying that Eyasan’s good deeds do not warrant character assassination, the Youth Council said she should rather, be encouraged. It pledged it’s unflinching and unwavering support for Mrs Oritsemeyiwa Eyasan.
The statement noted: “NNPCL adheres to a strict and transparent procurement process, ensuring that contracts are awarded based on merit, competitiveness, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
“Eyesan has consistently demonstrated her commitment to ethical practices, promoting a level playing field for all stakeholders involved in the procurement process.
“It is important to note that these accusations do not align with Mrs. Eyesan’s track record of professionalism and ethical conduct throughout her tenure as the NNPCL remains committed to fostering an environment of transparency and accountability.
“We urge the public to exercise caution in spreading unverified information and to await the outcome of any official investigations into these allegations. Mrs. Eyesan remains focused on her responsibilities, and we are confident that the truth will prevail.”
