Sen. Mao Ohuabunwa has hailed the judgment of the National and State Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal, which annulled the election of the Chief Whip of the Senate, Sen. Orji Kalu.

IT was another set back for the immediate-past governor of Oyo State, Mr Abiola Ajimobi as his ambition to challenge the election of Senator Kola Balogun of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hit the rock, just as the Oyo State National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Iyaganku, Ibadan, on Tuesday, upheld Balogun’s election.

 Security was beefed up on Wednesday within the vicinity of the Court of Appeal, Abuja, as the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal delivers judgment in the petition filed by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar challenging president Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in the Feb. 23 general election.
