Plateau needs security, stability, peace — Ladan

By Marie-Therese Nanlong

38-year-old Alex Ladan has prescribed a comprehensive ideological turn around as antidote to the troubles on the plateau, lamenting that the broom revolution of the current All Progressives Congress, APC is a failure.

Ladan who is contesting the governorship election on the platform of the Alliance for New Nigeria, ANN in Plateau state, noted the vision of the founding fathers of the State had been abandoned due to bad leadership, but he has what it takes to re-position the state and each citizen takes pride in the State, not tribe and contribute immensely to its development.

He stated that the office of the Governor should not be used to desecrate the common heritage of the people but to foster friendship and brotherhood, stressing that if elected into office, he will ensure the State returns to the good path which its founding fathers laid.

He lamented the insecurity in the State but maintained that as a responsible person, he would not blame people and look for who should have done what but would rise to the occasion and salvage the situation. Declaring his intention to vie for the office before his supporters in Jos, the 38 years old Ladan said,

“We are planting a seed which the world will hear about its fruits. My administration would be a revolutionary government in tandem with modernity that will set the template for a greater Plateau. My vision is for a Plateau state that is well governed with stability, peace, and security for all of its citizens and inhabitants.
