Seriake Dickson

The Bayelsa state governor, Seriake Dickson has reiterated his support for restructuring, noting that the country will know peace and development should Nigerians key in to his hypothesis (Restructuring) coming 2019 general election.

Dickson
Dickson who disclosed this via his tweeter handle, equally levelled an allegation against politicians from other parties whom he said control and abuse security forces.
His words, “In my state, considering all our efforts at promoting security and stability, there are politicians of the other party in Abuja whose only claim to political leadership is the control and abuse of the security forces.
They undermine state security and do so with impunity without any form of challenge.
Rather the Federal system listens to them, removes and replaces security people they are not comfortable with, promoting insecurity and instability in the state; a state we are labouring hard to bring under security control.
This is why we keep talking about restructuring.
My position remains that, 2019 is a call for a Referendum on Restructuring. Restructuring is purely A National Issue; we should not allow party affiliation to deter us.”
