Colour, culture, craft, creativity and sports were the marks of the 30th National Festival of Arts & Culture (NAFEST) 2017 hosted by Kaduna State, and especially Friday November 3, the day before closing ceremony. The highest moment in the events of that day was a traditional wrestling match between team Lagos and team Kaduna in one contest, and another set of contenders in the other.

The Advertising profession has received a boost with the entry in the book stands of a new title, “A Trilogy of Advertising –The Profession, the practice and philosophy”, authored by Dr. Josef Bel-Molokwu, former Registrar and Chief Executive of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).

A primary election is an election to narrow the field of aspirants to any elective office, and it comes before a general election. Under Nigerian electoral laws, primaries are held by political parties to nominate candidates who in their opinion can win the election for the party. 

A former Delta State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Olorogun Moses Odibo, and a former Transition Committee Chairman  of  Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Raymond Edijala, are optimistic that  Chief Jite Brown, the Peoples Democratic Party chairmanship candidate in Udu Local Government Area, will win the January 6, 2018 local government polls in the area.
