Ezenwa vows to rise to occasion against Cameroon

Eagles goalkeeper,, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has asked Nigerians to go to sleep with both eyes closed as the goalkeeping area is in safe hands ahead of the double clash against Cameroon.

Eagles have dates with the African champions in the 2018 FIFA  World Cup qualifiers on September 1st in Uyo and September 4th in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

Ezenwa said Nigerians just have to believe in the ability  of the invited goalkeepers, comprising Daniel Akpeyi, Dele Alampasu and himself  to be at their very best in the games to ensure the team record  the wins that will take them within touching distance of Russia 2018.

“I think the right time has come for the invited goalkeepers to prove their mettle and we are going to make Nigerians proud.

“The three goalkeepers for the clash against Cameroon are damn ready and anyone called upon to man the post will do an excellent work.

“There is no cause for alarm, myself, Daniel and Dele will deliver the goods at the appointed time, Nigerians can be rest assured and sleep with both eyes closed.

“The goalkeeping department is well secured and protected, we will perform to the satisfaction of Nigerians.

“Everything will be fine at the end of the day, we just have to be focus to be victorious against Cameroon.

“Of course, we will be victorious and I can tell you that we are already victors our mind set is well-focused to defeat Cameroon despite the fact that they are African champions.

“We will defeat Cameroon in both legs of the World Cup qualifiers,” the Ifeanyi Ubah goalie said in an interview with supersport.com.
