A Popular laugh merchant, Emeka Erem, aka Ajebo has concluded his campus comedy and music concert tour tagged; ‘Ajebo Unleashed Campus Tour’ on an impressive note with some talented students from participating schools winning money prizes on a minimie chichin break-the-boredom challenge contest.

The campus tour which was powered by Minimie Chinchin saw top Nigerian comedians and musicians thrilling the student audience in some Nigerian universities that include University of Abuja, Nassarawa State University, Leadcity University, Afe-Babalola University, University of Nigeria Nsukka, Adeleke University and finally at University of Lagos.

On the list of performing artistes alongside Ajebo were MI, MC Galaxy, Seyilaw, Skales, DiceIles, MC Shakara, Josh2funny, Mimiko, Hilarious Chinedu, Holy Faze, Destalker, Romeo, Osama, Akpororo, Kenny Blaq and others.

Speaking on the impact of the tour, Ajebo said, “I was overwhelmed on the large turnout of students who not only enjoyed the show but showed much enthusiasm to unleash creativity during our Minimie Chichin break-the-boredom challenge contest. We not only entertained but spread the message of good morals with a campaign tagged: #DontDoDrugs and #SurviveOnCreativity.”

According to him, “As an entertainer, I can stand here today to tell you that I did not need to take any performance enhancing drug to perform on stage. The second message hash tag, #SurviveOnCreativity is geared towards letting Nigerian youths know that their future is in their hands.

The idea is to urge youths to survive on their God given talents by building an entrepreneurial mindset even while on campus. We pushed the message of entrepreneurship. We cannot protest, fight, or take up arms to survive. What we have is entertainment and that is what we are using to talk to the youths of this country,” he said.

While expressing his appreciation to Minimie Chinchin for powering the 2017 edition of the tour, he also enjoined corporate brands to support such initiative and encourage creativity amongst Nigerian youths. On a final note, Ajebo thanked students of the schools that were part of the tour and expressed his desire to do more in other schools next year.

Over 100,000 Naira was given out as prizes to talented people on each campus who participated in the #minimiechichinbreaktheboredomchallenge.The comedian, who is popular on YouTube for his animation series, House of Ajebo revealed that the aim was to give back to students in campuses.
