Senate President, Dr. Olubukola Saraki on Tuesday stated that most laws in Nigeria are outdated.
Saraki made the statement while fielding questions on what the senate is doing about a comprehensive report on bills critical to SME development in Nigeria at the ongoing 22nd National economic Summit in Abuja. .
He said, “We have identified 11 bills that can enable businesses in Nigeria, one of such is Petroleum Information Bill, PIB. Our fear was that there was no reference to those in the community. That was why it was stepped down, but we are looking at passing that soonest,” he added.
