Latest media reports suggest that the South African Football Association have parted ways with Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba.
The move comes after the national side failed to qualify for the 2017 CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Gabon next year.
Mashaba led Bafana in their final Group M tie at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Friday which ended in a 1-1 draw against Mauritania.
According to the Daily Sun website, they have learnt from a well-placed source at SAFA House that the coach will be in charge of the team for the last time on Tuesday night.
Bafana are set to face the Pharaohs of Egypt on Tuesday night at Orlando Stadium in the annual Nelson Mandela Challenge.
The website has it that SAFA cannot take another risk ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers beginning in a space of a month.
