UI Alumni gets new executives

THE University of Ibadan Alumni Association has elected  new officials to run its affairs for the next two years during its 24th National Election Congress at the Senate Chambers of the University. Prof. K. O. Adebowale who declared the results implored the new executives to sustain the ideals and legacies of the past leadership.

Barr. Gladys Chibuzor, while swearing in the new executives congratulated them and urged them to work in unity of purpose.

Those elected include Dr. Kemi Emina, National President; Barr. Kazeem Olaniyan, Ist National Vice President; Prof. Uche Emetasom, 2nd National Vice President; Chief Francis Odion, 3rd National President; Dr. Noah Adebowale Fajemisin, National Secretary; Mr. Temidire Olumoyun, Ist Assistant National Secretary; and Dr. Patrick Omuku, 2nd Assistant National Secretary.

Others are Mr. Samuel Obinyan, National Publicity Secretary;  Dr. Elsie Adewoye, National Financial Secretary; Mr. Akaanan, National Treasurer; Dr. Ayodele Olademeji, National Social Secretary; Barr. Adelere Eyinade, National Legal Adviser; Dr. Uchenna Uzokwe, National Ex-Officio member; Engr. Abiola Ogunjobi, National Ex-Officio member; and Prof. S. G. Nyityo, National Ex-Officio member.

The election congress was witnessed by the former Vice Chancellor and now Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abel Olayinka and top management staff of the university.
