AHEAD of the September 10, 2016 governorship election in Edo State, the Edo state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will commence the sale of governorship nomination forms this week to aspirants wishing to contest the election.
There are four governorship aspirants on the platform of the party aspiring to be the governorship candidate of the party for the election. They are Chief Solomon Edebiri, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu , Mr. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen and Mr. Osaro Onaiwu.
A competent party source, who does not want his name in print, confirmed to Vanguard that all was set for the sale of the governorship nomination forms to the aspirants. He said the forms would be sold at the State Secretariat of the party in Benin- City.
On how much the nomination form would cost, he said he cannot disclosed the amount as only the State Executive Council of the party can disclosed that.
Meanwhile, Vanguard gathered that most of the aspirants are geared towards collecting the nomination forms before the dateline set by the party.
