Some APC delegates, who allegedly surrendered their PVCs for patronage are demanding for the return of their PVCs.
A delegate, who was a victim and does not want his name in print, told Vanguard that he was one of the delegates that were summoned to the residence of a chief along New Lagos Road where their PVCs were allegedly collected under the guise that they were taking them to help them get employment.
He disclosed that when they demanded the return of their PVCs, they were told that, “it’s being kept for safe keeping and being processed for job.”
He said, “We want to bring it to the attention of the National leadership of our party that some of our leaders are deploying several means to ensure that their preferred aspirant wins at all cost.”
“Many of us can no longer live in our houses for fear of been harassed and intimidated by a particular leader of our party in Oredo, who has deployed several means of harassing us each time we are to see any other visiting aspirant in our ward or LGA
“Our appeal to the national is that these people must be called to order, and all delegates must be assured of maximum security during and after the APC primaries. A stitch in time they say saves nine.”
