Uche Secondus

Few hours after taking over as the Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Uche Secondus, Wednesday met behind closed doors with President Goodluck Jonathan.
It would be recalled that Mr Secondus, who is the party’s Deputy National Chairman, took over the leadership of the Party after the resignation of its National Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Muazu, on health grounds.
Alhaji Muazu has been under pressure to resign following the loss of the presidential election which the PDP.
The Acting National Chairman of PDP arrived the Presidential Villa, Abuja at about 5.15pm in company of Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State.
Although the agenda of the meeting was not made public, it might not be unconnected with the recent development in the party.
Secondus was believed to have visited Jonathan in order to brief him on changes in the party and seek his support.
