Body of policeman recovered from Lagos Lagoon
The bloated body of a policeman, identified simply as Inspector Sapi-run, who jumped into the ocean in Lagos on Tuesday night was, Wednesday evening, recovered. The late Sapirun, who was reportedly attached to Dan Ocean Oil Company, according to eyewitnesses, was seen walking to and fro Ikoyi Bridge screaming that he wanted to die. Most people concluded that he was drunk.

UNIDO to assist Nigeria’s diversification to non-oil sector
The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) said the National Quality Infrastructure Project (NQIP) will assist Nigeria to diversify its economy to non-oil sector. UNIDO’s Project Coordinator, Mr. Charles Malata said the project will be useful to Nigeria as it spreads across several commodities in the country. He said the four years NQIP signed in 2013 has taken effect since May 2014 and is sponsored by EU with 12 million Euros already committed to cover its five components.
Court urged to disqualify APC candidate over alleged age falsification
TWO registered voters, Amagada Onoriode and Osibi Ufuoma, have asked a Federal High Court sitting in Warri, Delta State, to disqualify Benjamin Essien as All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Isoko South I in the Delta State House of Assembly seat in the coming elections over alleged age falsification.
