Monarch endorses Okpamen for Edo Assembly

By Simon Adewale

HRH Anselm Eidenojie II, Onojie of Uromi, has given his blessings to Prince Henry Okpamen, who will fly the All Progressives Congress, APC, flag to contest for the Edo State House of Assembly polls in February.

The monarch urged the electorate to vote for Okpamen due to his impressive track record and being the only member of the royal family contesting the election.

The monarch called on all Uromi sons and daughters both at home and in the diaspora to rally round Prince Okpamen and ensure he comes out victorious at the poll.

Okpamen, who is also Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to Governor Adams Oshiomhole, was accompanied to the palace by the APC, Chairman of the Council, Mr Sam Oboh, APC, State Vice Chairman, Chief H. Okoror, and other chieftains.
