Awka—Supporters of a member of the House of Representatives, Mrs. Uche Ekwunife, have promised to support her in her new party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ekwunife only recently defected from All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, to the PDP to contest for Anambra Central senatorial seat in 2015.

Speaking after their meeting at Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area, the Publicity Secretary of APGA in the area, Mr. Hyginus Eze, said Ekwunife was one politician who had consistently cared for those who worked for her, adding that they would be prepared to support her to enable her realize her senatorial ambition.

Eze, who had been supporting Ekwunife from her days in PDP to PPA, and to APGA and now back to PDP, said unlike many politicians who abandoned their supporters once election was over, the lawmaker has been serving her constituents by making them happy at all times.
