Rep. Opeyemi Bamidele
BY ADEDAPO AKINREFON
With the governorship campaign gaining momentum, the respective candidates are mapping out strategies to ensure they emerge victorious at the poll.
The Labour Party standard flag-bearer, Mr Opeyemi Bamidele took time off to attend to pending legislative issues in Abuja.
Opeyemi represents Ado-Ekiti/Irepodun-Ifelodun federal constituency in the House of Representatives. Though he contested and won elections on the platform of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, he has since jumped ship to the Labour Party where he intends to actualize his governorship ambition.
Vanguard reliably gathered that MOB, as he’s fondly called decided to take a break from the electioneering campaign because he “has not been in Abuja for the last five weeks.”
