The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, has urged Nigerians, especially of the Christian faith, to emulate the virtue of tolerance as demonstrated by Jesus Christ.

The forum in an Easter message to the citizenry, said the Easter period was an opportunity for all and sundry to reflect on the good examples set by Jesus in His life time.

The message issued by the group’s national publicity secretary, Mohammed Ibrahim, read thus:

“The Easter period commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christians all over world celebrate this period with prayers and activities of self sacrifice for the good of the society. The period also gives the Christians the opportunity to reflect on the life and good teachings of Jesus Christ especially his tolerance, forgiveness and self sacrifice.”
