ABUJA—AS Vice President Namadi Sambo marks his 57th birthday, the Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Abubakar Baraje Tuesday prayed for good health in his continued service to the country.

A statement by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Prof Rufai Ahmed Alkali,  said, “the Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje on behalf of the National Working Committee, NWC, and members of the party wishes to congratulate the Vice President, Arc. Mohammed Namadi Sambo, GCON, on his 57th birthday.

“As our great party join other Nigerians in rejoicing with you on this memorable occasion, we wish to commend as well as put on record, the reassuring firm steps that the Federal Government has so far taken in steering the ship of state in the right course.

“We pray God Almighty to further bless you with good health so that you will continue to assist Mr. President in bringing to fruition, the task of national transformation which the Goodluck-Sambo leadership has started in earnest.”
