Inspite of the poor showing of students in the just released West African Examination Council organized Senior School Certificate Examination for 2010/2011 session by Nigeria, where only 31percent scored above five credits including English and Mathematics, Laureates College the highbrow secondary school at Aviation Estate, off Murtala Muhammed International Airport Road, Lagos recorded a resounding success, scoring 100% passes at distinction/credit level in more than 12 subjects.
Specifically, Laureates College which motto is “excellent” posted a 100% distinction/credit in subjects like English Language, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Literature-in-English, Agricultural Science, Government, etc.

According to him “we have the best ICT laboratory which won Lagos State best ICT equipped school in 2008 and 2009. Our laboratories are well-equipped and our environment is serene very conducive for learning. Our teachers are very qualified, and infact some of the best in the state, and so it would have been surprising if we didn’t do well in the just concluded examination”, he said.
