Kwara students pledge support for CPC

Ilorin – The chances of the gubernatorial candidate of Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, in Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq, received a boost, weekend, following the successful hosting of musical concerts by the Joint Campus Committee of the party which thousands of the students attended and pledged support to the candidate in the forthcoming election.

Speaking in an interview with journalists at the concert, Abdulrazaq assured that his administration would not only commence payment of bursaries which he said had been left unpaid in the last three years, if elected into office.

He, however, added that  he would also review it upwards to meet up with the current economic reality.

He also promised to reduce the tution fees of Kwara State University which is over N200,000 to 50,000, that of  Kwara State Polytechnic and other state-owned tertiary institutions considerably if elected into office to enable children of the less privileged have assess to education.
Already, Abdulrahaman  Abdulrasaq has taken his campaign to Patigi, Lade, Moro, Bode Saadu, Offa, Balogun Gambari, Idi Ape both in Ilorin, Shao Garage, Oke Oyi and Babanloma among others canvassing for support.

At Shao Garage, hundereds of supporters of CPC in Ilorin East Local Government hosted him, where he was honoured with ‘Al-kinba’(garment of Alfa for prayers towards his success in the forthcoming election).

The CPC governorship candidate at different stages of campaign, pledged  to bring about governance with honesty and transparency that would ensure that the much expected dividends of democracy were brought to the door steps of   the people of the area.
