Cross River State Government has said it would not hesitate to probe any village head who failed to produce eligible tax payer in their domain that defaults in payment of taxes.

Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has said chairmen of Akoko-Edo and Orhionmwhon Local Government Areas remained suspended, noting that the state government will ignore the resolution of the House of Representatives seeking to reverse the suspension, maintaining that the resolution was passed in bad faith.
