Celebrities of different shields who dressed to kill adorned the red carpet, as they posed for shots, hugging and exchanging pleasantries at random. Actress Ini Edo-Ehiagwina was the reason for the gathering last Friday when she premiered her much awaited first movie, “Memories of My Heart’ at a hangout in the highbrow Ikoyi, Lagos.
It was one memorable occasion that meant so much for Ini. Not only did the event afforded the pretty actress the rare opportunity to present her father, siblings and her husband, Philip Ehiagwina to the world, it equally gave the management of the Chi Nigeria Limited, makers of the popular juice drinks, Caprisonne and Chivita, the needful opportunity to honour Ini with a gift of a golden trophy.
Ini last year emerged the face of that company’s brand of Chivita, and it was time for the company to honour its own role model.
Mr Sunday Moses, representing the company at the event had stepped forward to present a golden trophy to Ini, moments after Stella Damasus sang the National Anthem and to declare the event. She also rendered a beautiful love song, setting the scene for the movie screening.
Ini was in her best element flanked at the event by her father, siblings and her hubby, Philip Ehiagwina. She was such a beauty to behold, sparkling ever and radiating with happiness throughout the duration of the event.
Dressed in long-glowing yellow satin outfit, Ini was the cynosure of attraction. While the event lasted, the four walls of the specious hall trembled as all eyes continued to feast on her adorable outfit.
Her elated husband would not fail to count himself lucky to have married such a radiating beauty.
Ini’s outfit that evening for anything portrayed her as ‘an uncrowned queen of the universal.”
But it was not Ini that stole the show. Stella Damasus was exceptional. She sang the National Anthem moments after the opening prayer with such dexterity and mastery that really stood her out in the crowd.
She also rendered a beautiful love song, setting the scene for the movie screening.
