GOVERNOR Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has commended members of the House of Representatives for throwing out a motion sponsored by six lawmakers from the state in which they urged the House to declare as illegal, null and void the removal of the chairmen of Akoko Edo and Orhionmwon Local Government Councils, Johnson Emasealu and Patrick Aisien respectively, by the governor.

The Federal Government has re-affirmed its determination to resuscitate textile industries in the country as a step towards generating more jobs for the unemployed.
