Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Lagos chapter, Monsignor Bernard Okoduwa has urged Lagosians to appreciate God because the state has no record of civil or religious unrest since the inception of democratic rule in the country.

He made the charge during an interdenominational divine service of the the state chapter of CAN which took place recently with a theme; “As the Father hast sent me into the world so I have sent you.”

Okoduwa said it is a testimony on the part of the state has remained peaceful till now.

Monsgr. Okoduwa also used the occasion to appreciate the governor, Mr. Raji Babatunde Fashola for the spate of infrastructural develoment in the state, praying that God will continue to sustain the state and the nation.
Pastor Gabriel Olutola, the chairman of The Apostolic Church LAWNA Territory Nigeria also tasked Christians not to relent in their effort in depopulating the kingdom of Satan for the enlargement of the kingdom of God on earth through the preaching the word of God.
