THE Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN),yesterday appointed seven institutions to act as financial advisers to the eight troubled banks. THE Court of Appeal sitting in Enugu, Friday, has dismissed the application filed by the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in the 2007 election in Anambra state, Dr Emmanuel Andy Uba seeking to be automatically sworn in upon the expiration of the tenure of Governor Peter Obi on March 17, 2010 without any election.
