Edo State governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has approved the appointment of Mr. Peter Okhiria as Chief Press Secretary.

A statement by Hon Pally Iriase, Secretary to the State Government says the appointment takes effect from Monday, December, 7, 2009.

A native of Ozalla in Owan West Local Government Area of the state, Mr. Okhiria holds a Master Degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Jos .

Until his present appointment, he was an Editor with Vanguard Newspapers, Lagos.
He is married with three children.
