President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence building team as a measure towards improving cohesion within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Mr Olawale Ebietomiye, a stalwart of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Lagos state has lauded the Lagos State governor, Mr Akinwumi Ambode for his giants strides in developing the state since assumed office.

National Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Bola Tinubu has said that the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was playing politics with the open letter he wrote to President Muhammadu Buhari which has generated controversy, adding that if the Former President had meant well, he would have met with the President to talk about the issues he raised in the letter since he was Senior to Buhari both in the army, as head of State and as President.

Alleging gross incompetence in the face of challenges of state, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday, charged President Muhammadu Buhari to sidestep calls for a second term and join him and other former leaders in the rank of statesmen.

The former Lagos State governor and the leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has said that his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari has nothing to do with Obasanjo’s statement.
