A high-level delegation of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Monday arrived in Kano State ahead of the anticipated defection of former Kano State Governor and 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso.

The Kano State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has said key opposition leaders are expected to formally receive Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso into the party, in what could mark a significant political realignment.

He disclosed that Kwankwaso would formally register with the party on Monday, March 30, 2026, at his residence, Gidan Kwankwasiyya, Miller Road, Kano, by 12 noon.
