Customs led JBO impounds contraband items worth N1.2bn
THE North Central Zone of the Joint Border Operations, JBO, led by the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, has impounded various contraband goods worth N1.2 billion, even as it disclosed that 53 suspects were arrested between May and June this year.
Kaduna Customs makes more seizures, losses officer to kidnappers
THE Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Operations Unit, FOU, Zone ‘B’ Kaduna made 645 seizures of contraband items with Duty Paid Value, DPV, of N1.7 billion in the first half of 2020. The figure is against 425 seizures made during the corresponding period of 2019 with DPV of N762.1 million.
