The Uhrorho family of Okwemor community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State has joyfully and proudly congratulated their son, Prince Avwomakpotor Koyoyo Uhrorho, on his well-deserved emergence as the South-South Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the party’s historic zonal congress held in Asaba.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and former Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Yinka Akinbode, has urged party members and stakeholders to avoid divisions over the selection of a governorship candidate ahead of the 2027 elections.

Activities in the nation’s capital were disrupted on Friday as the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) held its National Convention under heavy security, with journalists reportedly barred and harassed by security operatives.

According to the coordinator, most of the tags designated for APC correspondents had already been distributed, leaving only a few remaining.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has affirmed that it is fully prepared to host its national convention, following a final inspection of the venue by the party’s Venue Sub-Committee on Thursday.
