THERE are very strong indications that some of the big players who were rested in Super Eagles’ 3-0 steam-rolling of the Harambee Stars of Kenya in Sunday’s World cup qualifier may not oblige coach Amodu Shuaibu with their services, again.

Nigeria dared world Football governing body, FIFA, in Sunday’s World Cup qualifier.And the match that Nigeria eventually won 3-0 would not have taken place but for a last minute decision by FIFA Executive member, Dr. Amos Adamu, who took responsibility and gave the go-ahead for the match to commence. Before this time, the match commissioner for the day, Tony Yeboah, had decided that the match would not start.

SUPER Eagles set pulses racing on Sunday with their play before the goals over-shadowed their scrappy play which nonetheless sent the team on the heels of hot-favourites, Tunisia, which thumped Mozambique 2-0 to place them on top with six points from two matches. The Eagles have four from same matches. Many Nigerians were awed with the performance of the team that raised so much hope with their tip-top 1-0 victory over former world champions, France.
