GOVERNOR Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, has called on military personnel  deployed to the states of the South South not to pander to the dictates of politicians.

The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, on Friday, declined to disqualify Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State from participating in Saturday’s governorship election, following allegation that he tendered forged documents to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. 

Amidst pressure to buck the tide of a bandwagon, voters across the country go to the polls today to elect 29 governors and 991 members of the State Houses of Assembly in all 36 states of the country.
