GAILY-dressed Nigerian Christians Sunday joined their counterparts worldwide to mark Palm Sunday, the triumphant entry of the progenitor of the Christian faith, Jesus Christ, into Jerusalem, with many Christians holding palm fronds and marching through the streets of Lagos to draw attention to the occasion.

THE Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Sunday said the success of Saturday’s Presidential election was due primarily to the resolve of Nigerians that, like in other parts of the civilised world, the vote must count and that the will of the electorate must prevail.
