The national leadership of the ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has resolved that its candidates should gladly accept defeat wherever they lost in the ongoing elections in order to accelerate the growth of the nation’s democracy.

President Goodluck Jonathan, Saturday, expressed optimism he was sure of victory at the presidential election , saying that he never contemplated failure when he decided to join the race.
