The question of “segregation” in the mosque during events other that salat has been a topic of discussion in Islamic fora.

Sitting in Islam not only in the mosque differs generally from other religions because Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) prohibits free mixing of men and women.

Since it is the season of letters, we deemed it necessary to dust the archives and bring one of the letters of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) to a number of ‘His excellencies’ during his era.
